Shoal Creek is a three building Mosaic Life Care medical complex which consisted of a 22,300 square foot Medical Clinic/Imaging Center with X-ray, CT and MRI; a 12,783 square foot Surgery Center with four OR rooms; and a 10,251 square foot Life Center with demonstration kitchen, theatrical stage and conference rooms.
The project sits on 11+ acres of ground with the buildings all opening to a central courtyard, extensively landscaped with a fire pit and stamped colored concrete plaza. The medical buildings all incorporate three beacons to allow for natural lighting and are clad in stone and cedar siding. The Life Center has an operable window wall at the Theatre that can be opened up to the reflecting pond and the plaza beyond and has a 40′ Aspire fountain as its central feature. The project is valued at just over $15 million dollars and had a very aggressive 10 month construction schedule.
