When Shawnee Mission Health was ready to open their new west campus in Lenexa, Kansas in 2007, they partnered Excel Constructors for construction management services.
During Phase I Excel constructed an 80,000 sq. ft. outpatient building that included several services needed to start a new campus including an Emergency Department, Surgery Center, an Imaging Center and clinical space.
Phase II was completed in 2014. Excel constructed second building that was a “mirror image” of the first connecting to the existing outpatient pavilion. The new 3-story medical building includes a Pain Clinic, Rehabilitation Services, Pharmacy, Family Practice Clinic and a 28,000 sf of underground doctor/staff parking.
These projects are a testament Excel Constructor’s longstanding relationship with Shawnee Mission Health for over 20 years.”
