Liberty Healthy Living Community (LHLC) is a mixed-used development project in Liberty, MO. This project consists of the Healthy Living Center, the Short Term Stay, and the Assisted Living Facility. Excel began construction on the Phase 1 of the project in late 2016 and the Assisted Living Facility broke ground in March of 2017. Next week, the pods for the Assisted Living Facility will arrive, to set forth a huge leap in completing this project.
The Healthy Living Center is a 50,000 SF, three-story building, which will include a complete fitness center with exercise rooms, running track, swimming and therapy pools, locker rooms, a full service commercial kitchen and bistro.
At 54,000 SF, the Short Term Stay building is four-story building that houses different uses. The first floor has a childcare center, day spa with massage, exercise rooms, physical, occupational and speech therapy rooms. The second through fourth floors each have a nursing care household. Each household is designed to look and function as a home and has twenty resident bedrooms on each floor.
The most recent phase of the LHLC is the Assisted Living Facility. This is a three-story, 49,500 SF Senior Living Facility that houses a care household on each floor with each household having 20 resident bedrooms.
