On Thursday, October 15, Donnelly College’s SHINE Online 2020 event was held in support of the college’s mission and to raise funds for student scholarships. The highlights of the virtual event were stories by students and recent alumni sharing their experiences of Donnelly and what it has meant to them. This fall, Donnelly opened its new academic building to the returning students. Excel is proud to be the contractor on the new academic building and to have played a small part in the student’s learning experience. Capturing the spirit of the SHINE event was Lisa Stoothoff, the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs/ Dean of Donnelly College, sharing that she was “fortunate to have guests/donors attend in person to watch the event and take a tour of the building. Repeatedly, they commented on the craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail in the construction of the building. While I am deeply appreciative of this every day, it was wonderful to have the affirmation of our donors as well. Kudos to Matt and his team for their diligence and dedication on delivering a project of exceptional quality.”
