On Saturday, May 15, Donnelly College held its Spring commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2021. At the Commencement, a presentation was made for the Delta Award which recognizes an individual whose contributions to the community embody the mission, spirit and values of Donnelly College. The symbol of the Delta has historic significance to Donnelly as it was the College’s original logo signifying the Holy Trinity. Mike Johnson, Excel Constructors’ president for nearly 30 years, was the posthumous recipient of the award. Debbie Johnson, his wife, accepted the award and honor on behalf of the family. Excel Constructors recently completed a new Academic Building for Donnelly which houses all of its main classrooms.
