Situated on more than 19 acres of eastern Kansas Prairie land, the Tonganoxie Army Reserve Center continues to make progress towards its expected January 2018 opening. This state-of-the-art, energy-efficient facility includes a 36,500 SF training facility, a 9,222 SF maintenance shop and a 1,700 SF storage building. Among its many features are state-of-the-art training rooms, energy efficient fixtures, library, vault, weapons simulator, assembly hall and physical fitness areas with locker rooms. Excel Constructors along with its joint venture partner, Safe and Sound Security Systems, began work on the project in December, 2016.
