This week, Excel’s team began placing the first of 78 prefabricated modular pods for the Assisted Living Facility in Liberty. Designed and manufactured offsite, these modules expedite the construction schedule while providing environmentally friendly materials and create less waste than onsite construction. Superior Building Systems built these modules in South Dakota and they were then transported to the site for final assembly. Proset Inc. places the pods in place with the aid of Blue Hat Crane Company. Once the units have been set, our mechanical, electrical and finish contractors continue the tasks of completing the final product. This construction method allows us to meet an aggressive construction schedule as the Assisted Living Facility is scheduled to open in December 2017.
Liberty Healthy Living Community (LHLC) is a mixed-used development project in Liberty, MO. This project consists of the Healthy Living Center, the Short Term Stay, and the Assisted Living Facility.
