Congratulations to Excel’s President, Mike Johnson for receiving the 2015 Richard V. Edmonds Award for Exemplary Service presented by the Foundation for Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Mike was presented the award at the annual Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy benefit for children and families served by the SMMC’s Lee Ann Britain Infant Development Center (IDC) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This award is given annually by the foundation to an outstanding citizen who helps promote the hospital and their work. Mike has been involved in numerous construction projects at the Britain IDC and NICU over the last two decades and is a strong advocate for the health of our community.
